"Le Petit Volcan is at the top of hillside village of Montpeyroux. Access is along narrow steep one way streets, the last of which has a sign restricting access, but we just followed the GPS right to the entrance gate. The owner greeted us and showed us the parking (unloaded the suitcases right by the door to our room) and after showing us our room (accommodation was perfect) showed us how to get to the two nearby restaurants. Zen was good! Great breakfast and again welcoming hosts."

Je tien à remercier la propriétaire qui m'a héberger pour la nuit alors qu'elle n'est pas sur d’être payer car n’étant pas affilier a hotel.com."

"The owners of L'Ajasserie in Orcival are just wonderful! Claude and Rosi made our stay so pleasant and serve a wonderful dinner, Rosi's cuisine. Orcival is a lovely small town with an amazing Romanesque church, the prettiest wee saw. If you want an authentic Auvergne experience, not a cookie-cutter hotel experience, I would highly recommend L'Ajasserie d'Orcival. The room was spacious and clean and very comfortable. Would love to return!"

"There is nothing that I liked. I booked months ago. On my way to the hotel I attempted to call to inform them of our arrival time, but the phone number did not work, nor did the messaging system work. We arrived there and the lights were out and the doors were locked. No one was there."

"We enjoyed our stay here -- it's a nice house with a great view, and we appreciated being able to use it as a base for exploring this part of the country. We had no concerns at all -- everything about the property was exactly as described. The remoteness is part of the appeal -- though it does mean that it's not easy to pop out to a shop for something you might have missed/forgotten. With good planning, it's a really appealing place."
