"I basically requested a double room as that was available at the time but, I was down graded to a single twin bedded room because I was single. The room was never cleaned during my 3 night stay. The host was very rude and gave me a hard time when I wanted a coffee as she saw that I bought some food to have later but I had to go outside nonetheless. "Not very organized, they gave me the wrong room to start with, and a broken key too. It was way to hard to get in to the hostel. A lot of things that I wanted to use were dirty and unclean like the coffee pot. The WIFI was not reliable. The place is ok for $25/night I suppose. "

"This is a gem of a hostel, you can't go wrong. We had a 6 bed room to ourselves and, while initially looking a little on the cramped side, it was no bother at all as we mainly spent our time out and about. Spotlessly clean, great en suite shower, firm mattresses (which I thought were great, but guess that's down to personal preference!) The hostel is a 25 min walk from the centre of Cologne (Dom & railway station etc) and located a few mins walk from the buzzing Belgian Quarter, but still...
