I'm surprised by other bad reviews. This hotel is half the price of nearby hotels and I found the stay comfortable and very reasonable. Yes, it is HOT in common areas outside of elevators and the wifi is almost non-existent anywhere, but there was central air in the rooms and the bathrooms were clean. Perhaps they were small, but I don't share the bathroom anyway. Although the walk to breakfast was brief, the food was good (I only stayed one night). And nothing beats the free comfy ride to the airport. I stayed in another Manila hotel when I arrived (near MOA) which was WAY dirtier, smaller, farther with no shuttle, and was $10 less. I'd choose Remington over that hotel in a heartbeat. The other hotel did not offer free breakfast either. So, if you want to pay double for Mariott or Maxim, go ahead, but you can't compare apples to oranges.
Nice and considerate staffs. Room spacious but a bit outdated. Food is good although the choices are limitted. Conveniently located near moa with free shuttle service. Would consider it on my next trip. And oh, the toilet seat has a warmer and washing/drying your bottom is a breeze with just a touch on the buttons. ;-)

Its a great experience staying at Kabayan hotels... aside from their facilities and its accessibilty its staff esp. The front desk named FERDIE has a good personality that adds to the warming welcome of guest..
Overall the hotel was very nice. The problem I noticed was the dust right away, looks like it hasn't been used for quite a while, the dust under the bed and on the hair blower when I was using it after I took a shower the dust was all over my hair so I have take a bath again. My recommendation is if they could check the room first before the guest would check in. Overall it was a nice hotel, big room and quiet.
My wife and I stayed 2 nights and really enjoyed it. The staff was friendly, security was great and the jeepney stop going to MOA was a block away. There's an outdoor market and plenty of restaurants within a short walk, the room was spotless and good sized. We've already decided this is our hotel whenever we travel to Manila.
Pasay is home to the Philippine International Convention Centre and Ninoy Aquino International Airport. The densely populated district is also renowned for its many entertainment and dining options, including the waterfront nightclubs along Roxas Boulevard. One of Asia’s largest malls, SM Mall of Asia, opened here in 2006. Several red light areas are scattered throughout the municipality.
