"Colton Loft was very clean and comfortable. It had all the amenities that one would wish, situated in a beautiful quiet village with the helpful host living just next door. The 3 local pubs Plum and Partridge, Carlton Inn and the Fauconberg were all very good. Exploring York was also easy with the use of the excellent Rawcliff Bar park and ride."

"A pretty little gem. The place is immaculate. Lovely modern decor, super clean linen, clean bathroom. Nice space to be in. Little garden- not big enough for children but I don’t have any. Does have a cute table and chair to sit out if the weather is nice. The town is well equipped with some takeaways, shops, restaurants etc. The beach is gorgeous and a stone throw from the house/studio. Lovely little community garden in front of the property. "The property was in a great position in the centre of Richmond, yet very quiet. Everything we needed was within walking distance. The cottage has a garage but our car didn’t fit into it. Parking was quite a challenge sometimes,finding somewhere close not on a zoned area."

"First impressions not good due to long grass and weeds against front wall and do No freezer box in fridge. We weren’t expecting a freezer compartment as not listed. Only one bedside lamp in main bedroom Only comfortable seats for three people in sitting room. Not a problem for us two Second bedroom inadequate for another couple no storage, again no problem for us.
