Close to airport and right on the beach. There are shops walking distance from here and grocery stores. I understand I not every room will have a leak in the ceiling but ours did and if it had been over the need I would of been very upset, thankfully it was off to the side of the room but yes there were 3 leaks😒 once staff was made aware of the problem they were quick to remedy the problem.
"Good pools, very bad air conditioner, no hot water"
I liked the hotel but the air conditioner wasnt in good condition and the recepcionist was so rude, they changed me to another room but no hot water and weird smell. I just liked the pools, the view and food.
"Immaculately looked after hotel with fabulous staf"
This is a beautiful place to stay the grounds are immaculate! Vistas of the Sierra Madres and the beach. it has quiet pools and noisy family fun pools. The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff is amazing our maid Amelia was awesome and Diego in Concierge services was incredible he made our trip memorable. Also we love that theres shopping mall down the street where you can buy anything you need and local buses just outside on the street.
The main reason we came here was for kid pool. Did not like the buffet restaurant. Loved Japanese restaurant. Room temperature was never cold enough. Wish they had tubs or Handshowers in bathroom. I did not feel that the full size mirror was safely secured to wall. Would've liked to see more wait staff taking drink orders around pools & on beach. Hated that 3 out of 5 days the house keeping did not show up till about 5pm! And they never bothered to clean balcony.
This is a hotel which lives up to it's name, "Friendly". We recently got married here and the staff were excellent. The beach is lovely and so is the adult pool. The kids pool was way too crowded for my taste. The food was great. You need to try the wood oven pizza at the beach snack bar, it is great. I found all the food very good and I have been to many different all inclusives in Mexico. The staff did an excellent job with the wedding.
After booking and reading more reviews we were concerned. However, we ended up thrilled with our stay. Sure there was construction and not as many dining choices on the adult side, but the sister resort had excellent choices which were within easy walking distance. We experienced NO bad meals.
We were on the 6th floor and had a fantastic ocean view. The higher the better. Yailin, the Concierge provided us with excellent service and treated us as if she had known us forever - thank you Yailin. Juan - Concierge/bell boy greeted us with a smile and was always helpful. Anabel - the adult pool provided great service and even made sure our drinks had nicely decorated fruit on the glass. Alvaro - breakfast waiter at the Breeze remembered every morning that my husband liked his eggs cooked a certain way. Raul - waiter at the Japanese restaurant provided us with excellent service the two times we dined there.
The only issues we had were the lack of air conditioning in our room. It worked, but it wasn't quite cool enough at night. The Japanese restaurant had air conditioning issues. Even though we struggled we did go back and Raul seated us in a more comfortable area.
After the renovations are done and a few improvements are made it will only get better. For those who reviewed this resort negatively, they must be the type who complain about everything and will do so wherever they go. We treated the staff with respect and kindness and received the same in return.
Our stay started with very few people at the hotel and we loved it! The wait staff were very interactive and attentive. The facilities are good, however, need some repairs. The food was very nice. Mid week the hotel filled up and things got crazy. There were a lot of young families and also young adults who were there unchaparoned. The young people were very disruptive, drinking through the night and very loud. It didn't appear to be a concern to the staff. Many of the young people were falling down drunk and vomiting and I didn't see any of the staff intervene. In all I would stay here again, but maybe not during the down season when school is letting out.
The location is just 15 min. by bus to central,Then your in the tourist area. For the price the pool is clean, they have a small cafe. The cable has several english movie channels. Has a/c, local stores walking distance. I would go back.
The kids' program is wonderful. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. The food was great in the specialty restaurants. The buffet offered many choices and was fresh and tasty. I look forward to returning. The pool was warm and the vistas amazing of the ocean from the infinity pool. Very family oriented! You can't miss with his property!
Pocket Guide: Puerto Vallarta North Hotel Zone Hotels
Large resorts dominate the Hotel Zone, arguably the center of Puerto Vallarta tourism. This area includes the Maritime Terminal, where cruise ships dock. Across the street, visitors can see authentic bullfights at La Paloma Bullring. Like its southern half, the North Hotel Zone’s main attraction is the crescent-shaped bay. Water sports are in abundance, as are restaurants, bars, and shops.
