The staff was very helpful seeing there was a language barrier. Rooms were clean, food was good and the staff was excellent. Seeing we were misinformed about our ALL INCLUSIVE PKG we had to pay for food and drinks which set us back. The resort did give us a per day deal, thanks to them.
Had a one night stopover while on vacation. The Westin is very close to the airport....200 pesos using the prescribed airport taxi TO the Westin (not bad) and only 80 pesos on the return.....very convenient. It looked spotless to me in the public areas, and my room, which had the standard amenities as well as a beautiful view of the pool and bay beyond. Staff was VERY efficient, friendly and accommodating. I stay in hotels CONSTANTLY for work and the Westin Puerto Vallarta compares very favorably. I would certainly book here again.
Great location. FOR THE PRICE great everything... Beach was a little rocky but we still swam. My teenage girls loved it, we felt very comfortable with them going off on their own(resort only). White sheets and bedding! Pool was a little on the warm side, but of course it was, it was hot there...vendors On the beach, you're in Mexico not Hawaii...
Walk to Marina for great restaurants!
We ate at the Marriott too, GREAT food and service. I gained 3 pounds! Ugh.
They have ice makers, blow dryers but no coffee! You have to pay for that! We brought our own mini pot and coffee! Hotel is generous w beach towels without having to check them out. The kids had a great time at the flea market by the river downtown. Huge iguanas wild...
"Great spot for an overnight close to the airport"
Less than 10 minute walk from the airport. If you have a late flight in or an early flight out and need a hotel close to the airport, this one is great. $60. U.S. on Expedia included a good breakfast. Hot eggs, refried beans, cereal, toast, yogurt, fresh fruit, coffee, and some pastries. There is a large pool, which could have been a bit cleaner. The rooms are small and basic but very quiet. We couldn't hear the planes or traffic at all. Staff was very friendly and helpful. When we checked out they let us keep our luggage in the office while we went for lunch before we went to the airport.
This hotel is a little older but it's very unique on the inside. The hotel staff was extremely friendly. Our room was cleaned well each day and generous amounts of towels and toiletries were left behind. The view of the beach is great and we only ate one thing while we were that that we weren't crazy about. Overall the food was deliscious. This hotel is also only a $4 cab ride from Walmart and right across the street from the marina, where you can find good restaurants and shopping.
I would recommend this hotel to any family that would be visiting Puerto Vallarta . The hotel staff treated me and my family so good from the day with checked in to the day we checked out. The view to the beach was beautiful and rooms were so cleaned . Looking forward to coming back next year . ;)
