We had a great time, staff was helpful, quick and responsive. The staff spoke English very well, and were very accommodating to some surly guests! We were impressed by their patience and smiles. Very pleasant accomodations, breakfast was a very good attempt at American cuisine, which was good news for us, since we are used to more than croissants and coffee to start our day :) Prices weren't any more expensive than rest of Paris. We loved it there, and will return as soon as we can. WiFi worked good, rooms a little small, but only by American standards really - bit of shuffling our things around and we had room to move a bit. Great location to Louvre and Notre Dame, walking distance to both was within 20 minutes...good side of town for sure! The staff made our week even better, helpful with directions and tips to prevent pickpockets from stealing when out in metro and site-seeing. Wonderful time, thank you Hotel Ducs de Bourgogne for your excellent service and staff! You made it feel like our home away from home!
For our trip to Paris we booked at Citadines Prestige Les Halles. Very happy with the accommodation, friendly staff
clean comfortable rooms and great service. Also great location, metro, shops and cafes right outside the door. Also walking distance to Notra Dame and Louvre museum.
Upon entering we were greeted warmly by the staff. Checked us in and walked us to our room. What a surprise the room was! I've heard of the tiny rooms in Paris, but this room was very spacious and comfortable! I even had a private terrace! Long hallway, nice modern bathroom, separate commode, bedroom had a small sofa, king size or two twin beds, and a table with two chairs. Breakfast was great since you didn't have to leave. You had your choice of oj or grapefruit juice, coffee , tea, buffet breakfast with cheese, smoked salmon, scrambled eggs, bacon , pancakes, potatoes, yogurt and a beautiful basket of breads, croissants, and pastries. (We took the breakfast option and were happy we did.) EVERYONE was wonderful! Great restaurant recommendations. Special thanks to Sonia, Aimal, Luis, And Luc! I'll be back!
"For Paris, a great deal and an unbeatable location"
The rooms (not to mention the elevator/lift) seem small by North American standards, but this is a great value for Paris. The location is great -- arrondissement un -- and the view looking out of the windows is quintessentially Parisien. Despite the noise from the street and the age of the building, the windows are surprisingly well soundproofed, and we slept better here than we expected. The graffiti visible on the building across from our window (après la pluie, le beau temps) seems to sum it up: you need perspective to appreciate things!
Hotel Agora enjoys an excellent situation in the very heart of Paris , a few steps from the Louvre Museum, Notre Dame …More
Great location even for first time visitors in Paris! Spent 3 days and 2 nights. We were able to get around in one full day through the Metro.
Very clean and staff are helpful. The only bad thing was on our first night, the couple next room were fighting and I woke up at 3am hearing the guy yelling and cursing to the woman, but this was not the hotel's fault.
Overall experience was wonderful, will stay again for sure and will recommend to friends!

Very impressed with this small hotel. I arrived feeling ill from a shuttle ride with a bad driver and the receptionist was really lovely, sat me down, gave me water and genuinely cared for my well being. I knew the room would be small but was impressed with the cleanliness, the modern bathroom and comfy bed. The location is great. Turn right out of the hotel and keep walking and you come to a great shopping area. The hotel is obviously close to Le Louvre but also easy walking distance to Notre Dam and the Latin quarter with all the lovely lanes and restaurants there. I will stay there again.
It was great from the start!! Highly recommend if you like small quaint boutique hotels. We told them we had our 3 year old coming with us in advance and upon arrival they were so sweet and even had a cot set up in our room in advance, just in case we needed it for our child. I really appreciated it. Their English is okay but didn't matter they were welcoming and clean and uber cool room!!
