“Best hotel”
Very nice hotel, right in central Paris. Close to attractions, metro, shops and lots of restaurants
“Good central location”
Hotel is located in a good spot with a Metro station right outside the hotel (Chatelet) which links with Chatelet Les Halles metro and RER station. Ideal for Disneyland and Arc de Triomphe etc. Notre Dame, Louvre and Latin Quarter are all within walking distance. Hotel was clean and does exactly what it says on the tin. Would recommend it.
“making plans to go back 2012”
hotel was evrything you could wish for,,,staff were so helpful food exellent.....
“Location, Location, Location!”
We found this to be an excellent all round hotel. Our room was very clean and spacious. Tea and coffee making facilities and we even managed to have breakfast there each day as there was a small table and we used the mini bar for a fridge. We didn't use the restaurant as it was too expensive so can't comment on what the food was like. Location of this hotel is excellent, great for the trains and easy to walk to the Louvre and Notre Dam. Many restaurants literally round the corner including Pizza Hut, Macdonalds and KFC if that's what you want. But the other restaurants we tried were really good. Other reviews had said they found the area at night a bit intimidating and rough, but we saw no evidence of this and felt quite comfortable with our children. We would definitely return and would recommend it as a great base if you are looking for a hotel in the centre. We also travelled to Disney, which is a 40 min train trip on the RER from the station just outside the hotel.
“Highly Recommended Hotel”
This is an excellent hotel & I would highly recommend it to others. I recently stayed there with my 2 daughters during their October vacation. The family room was very spacious & had proper beds for the kids & plenty of room to move about in. Breakfast was excellent & there was no charge for the kids. Staff at the reception were very welcoming & helpful.
“Very good, very central”
Room was spacious and comfortable, hotel was very central, all in all a good choice that we would use again.
“Excellent Hotel”
This hotel was very clean and well positioned near the metro and the Louvre. I would use this hotel again, for sure. You are in close vicinity to a variety of restaurant's and cafe's. We had dinner at the hotel and as to be expected it was very expensive. For two chicken and bacon sandwiches plus salad it costs 36 euros including two soft drinks. One of the things I liked most about the hotel ws that the windows actually opened:O so you could get fresh air, unlike most hotels which you can only open by about an inch!
“Novotel Hotel Paris”
Very nice hotel. Breakfast was not included and cost €18 each which is very expensive. However the selection was huge. There was a slight hum in the room from something like the water boiler. My husband did not notice it. I did for the first two nights. The hotel is very central and really good to get everywhere from. When you arrive on the metro from Gard Nor, you exit into a shopping centre. You need to go up to the 3rd floor to exit for the hotel. We had clean sheets and towels every day. The view from our window was mainly other windows in the hotel, but this was not a problem. Everything is withing walking distance. The hotel is very classy. I will return.
“Good choice if your sightseeing in Paris”
Novotel les halles is the good choice hotel if you want to go sightseeing in Paris. Its location, being a short walk distance from the RER and the metro, is ideal and there are many restaurants within the area as well(where food are cheap but yum! )and of course the Forum de halles mall, which is helpful if forgot to pack some things.. I cannot fault the hotel service as well. The hotel staff were all very polite, helpful and can fluently speaks english. Only its location being ideal is also its downside as at five in the afternnon, young people starts to file up at the nearby plaza. Groups of black men and women who will approach you if you are walking alone. So if you are going there make sure you don't walk alone.
“Convenient Hotel”
Great location for being in the centre of everything. Check your room number as they are on the floor!!!
