"Hotel is located just a couple of minutes from the heart of Cardiff City. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean. Rooms are basic and this is exactly as advertised, bed was comfy, only one pillow each but it was good quality. Room only had one towel, unsure if that is on purpose. The only negative was a really quite pungent smell of mackerel in lobby, as if someone had been microwaving it daily. Oh and the tv appears to have no interent connection and...

Up a very grand staircase, through the glass doors on the left, (not right), down a long corridor through another door to the elevator up to 2nd & 3rd floors. "Room was spacious, clean; we loved the small fridge and large shower. We heard no noise from other rooms. The breakfast menu was wide and the food was plentiful: an omnivore and a vegan, we were both well catered for. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is good for Temple Meads station & the river."
