"We enjoyed our stay at the Admiral Fitzroy Inn this week. The location was centrally located amidst the wharves and shopping places. There are plenty of options for eating on the go or sitting down for dinner along the waterfront. The Inn served breakfast every morning with quite a selection of foods to choose from. I loved the historical feel of the building- and yes there is an elevator! Being an old building, the walls were thin, but not so much as to interfere with a good night's sleep...

"Laurence and John were gracious hosts. This is one of the best B&Bs I have ever stayed at! Our room was lovely and immaculately clean which I really appreciate. In fact the entire house is immaculate. Laurence makes divine breakfasts and service was outstanding. We didn't really need and lunch. Don't miss the complementary wine and cheese at 5:00pm! "Very clean, rooms I. Excellent condition, wonderful staff. We love the Viking and consider other places to stay but for 15 years of visiting there, we consistently have stayed exclusively at Hotel Viking. With that said, the new parking rates and resort fees have increased dramatically and it almost prevented us from staying there this time. It’s an extra $100 a night to stay there because of these fees and that makes us hesitant to stay there again, especially since it’s not on the water. Also...

We were craving some fresh fruit and the manager in the lobby actually got it for us! They went above and beyond! We had a lovely stay!"

My only disappointments where the lack of a small fridge in the room, the sink is very narrow and close to the wall so when you wash your face it’s hard not to get water on yourself and the floor, and the hot water in the shower took forever to actually get warm enough.
