"Very clean, rooms I. Excellent condition, wonderful staff. We love the Viking and consider other places to stay but for 15 years of visiting there, we consistently have stayed exclusively at Hotel Viking. With that said, the new parking rates and resort fees have increased dramatically and it almost prevented us from staying there this time. It’s an extra $100 a night to stay there because of these fees and that makes us hesitant to stay there again, especially since it’s not on the water. Also...

My only disappointments where the lack of a small fridge in the room, the sink is very narrow and close to the wall so when you wash your face it’s hard not to get water on yourself and the floor, and the hot water in the shower took forever to actually get warm enough. "The hotel is in the midst of renovations. The outside is in need of repair, but the rooms and common areas are clean and updated. The deck could use some paint, etc., but the view is fabulous and the seating is comfortable. The pool was clean - hot tub was not working. Front desk staff was courteous and pleasant.
