"This is a fabulous home - so cosy and welcoming. Very well equipped, quiet and peaceful. The pool is heated and a really good size my kids loved it. Fruit trees all round the garden - it’s so lush and lovely. A 5 minute walk to the river bridge, a half hour walk to Praia de Antas where there are miles of golden sand. Would highly recommend - though would rather keep this a secret to ourselves. :)"

"This apartment was beyond our expectations. With its old word (300 yr old) interior walls and floors to its tasteful furnishings yet boasting all modern conveniences. We were very comfortable. It is very quiet and safe area with lots of restaurants within short walking distance. We tend to take Uber and were pleased to find that nowhere in the city was more than 5 euros (including 1 euro tip) Our host as extremely cordial and helpful. Thank you for the opportunity. "It was a very nice stay. Friendly hosts. Clean and comfortable home nice shared green space. The beach and board walk was great and led to awesome restaurants in both directions. The only down side is it is a little isolated with out a car but there is a bus near by and taxis are available and under 10 euros to get to town "

"This is a good property close to a lovely Atlantic beach that is good for surfing and body boarding. The property is secluded and there is a lovely pool that you share with one other property. The kitchen is sufficient for self catering and there is a supermarket close by. The location is good for exploring North Portugal, including the Lima Valley and the Miho boarder towns. The hosts are friendly and very helpful. I would recommend this property."

"Amazing 3 bedroom/2 full bath house with all the basics covered. Very clean, thanks to the housekeeping terrific service. The place is steps away from the metro, intercity trains, and an easy walk to really anywhere in Gaia and Porto (via Dom Luis I bridge, upper or lower crossing). Train station has elevators for improved accessibility (although the house itself has stairs to enter from the street to the upper deck). "There's much to like about The Yellow House, with one major exception. The bed is quite comfortable, and while smallish, the quarters are comfortable as well. Wifi worked very well, and the patio is a huge plus, for relaxing in the sun (I smoke the occasional cigar, so it was very welcome. It's also very quiet except for the occasional- as in not very often- barking of the two dogs next door. They're pretty cool pooches, so it was not a problem. The site is two blocks from the Cockburn Port...

"The house suited our group of 4 couples very well. We appreciated having our own bathrooms. We loved picking oranges and lemons in the backyard. (Middle April) Picking oranges took some climbing, however. Also, be prepared to climb stairs in the house. Artur the host was very quick to respond to any Communication I had with him."
