"Clean neatly kept property on the lake. Hotel has been here since 1843 and looks like a nice place if you come here for the summer. plenty of towels and blankets provided. Bathroom was very clean.. We were very comfortable for a stay on a gorgeous lake."

"The staff and breakfast were excellent. For areas of improvement, the road sign needs a light to illuminate it at night and the plants around it need to be trimmed to improve visibility. The landscaping on the grounds and on the porch need upkeep and improvement. It would be helpful to add a write up or plaque about the history of the home as you enter."

The gourmet meals they prepared for breakfast and dinner were always delicious. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the gracious owner went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and more. We were thrilled that our daughter was able to take her first horseback riding lesson there. Our kids loved holding the baby goats that were born there that...
