"Well situated quiet accommodation within easy walking distance of beautiful Alnwick. We stayed in the beautifully appointed Groom’s room which is upstairs in the owners home. It was spacious with a very comfy bed, a sofa, lovely quality furnishings and a table just outside the room where a perfect breakfast was served. David and Bev our hosts were so welcoming and have thought of everything. Absolutely no complaints as everything was top notch and we look forward to returning and hopefully stay...

So many thoughtful touches, like the torch next to the bed in case you use the bathroom in the night. Plenty of hot water for the shower and a really comfy bed. "Clean, warm and friendly. Good size bedroom very large en-suite bathroom on the back of the house, quiet. Well organised as Mark does not live on premises. Thought parking might be an issue but was virtually out side the house, normal street parking. Good breakfast. Would stay again if in the area. "

Some points - - the bedside lamps had lampshades with patterned structure which gives a dreadful lamp with which to read with. - Small shampoo shower bottles - surely there is something more eco-friendly than these small bottles"
