"The hotel overall was very nice, clean, good facilities, and the rooms spacious. Staff were mostly very friendly. The food and drinks were of good quality, but ridiculously overpriced. I understand there are overheads to making a portion of chips and a half pint of draft cola, but £9.00 is going too far. I hear the alcoholic drinks were even more ludicrous. We stayed onion our way to Devon On my arrival back home a week later I had received a letter containing a parking fine for parking at the hotel overnight, and although this was rectified by a telephone call to the Hotel it was an inconvenience I could have done without.
