"we wanted to be able to spend some time near the ocean. This is a small place but an easy walk to Poplar Beach in Half Moon Bay. A nice, quiet backyard. We enjoyed eating dinner there. A good place for a couple or perhaps a small family. A tiny but excellent shower. I would be happy to rent this place again."

"On our way driving to Phoenix we decided to spend 3 nights in Half Moon Bay, had never been to this area. It was great! The accommodation was good, bathroom small and sink tiny but the kitchen sink was large so my husband and I used that! Only thing lacking was no wardrobe or closet for hanging clothes, only 1 hook in the bedroom, but we managed and did like the space and cottage feel! "This is a lovely place. The decor is both calming and serene, but also whimsical and creative. We had a delightful stay and enjoyed the areas nearby. We both used to live in Oakland. We had a perfect launching pad for visits to our old haunts. Thank you so much to the hosts!"

"The unit itself was very nice, well appointed and in a great location. It had everything we needed to cook and bake. The fresh loaf of local bread was a really nice surprise. At the time of our stay (May 2024) the staircase down to the unit was under construction. The only way down to the unit was a dangerous trail with wobbly steps. This was a challenging climb in and out, but with luggage, it was a nightmare."

"I enjoyed my stay at Grace's rental. The unit was very clean and had easy parking right in front. It's up high on the hill with beautiful views of Mt. Tam. Grace was easy to reach. Just a note to anyone with mobility issues-there is a steep staircase inside so could be problematic for some. Otherwise the coffee provided was great to have, beautiful skylights and very bright in the unit. Very cute. Would stay here again. Thank you."

"It was a pleasure to stay here, thanks Swami! The furnishings are quite sparse but all nicely comfortable and functional, with very good facilities all around in the bathroom and the well-equipped kitchen. It is relaxingly quiet and private, and in a pleasant area. Great location for a visiting academic (as I am), with an easy walk to the university campus, lots of restaurants of all kinds nearby, and BART station. I’d be very happy to stay again on future visits!"

"Our interaction with the owner and his helpfulness to us was remarkable. I even had to have something shipped prior to my arrival and he was happy to receive it for me. The accommodations are first reight, fresh flowers, coffee in the refrigerator, clean and comfortable. Everything was as good as we could've asked. We were in San Rafael for a wedding and this was a perfect two nights for us to rest."

"Location, location, location. We love being so close to the beach. Your cottage is adorable and we loved it again. As far as feedback, we have some. The backyard was a bit run down this time. The fence was broken I imagine from the rain storms . It also looks as though the gardener left piles which were needed to be recycled into the green bin. Last time the back yard was pristine. "As you drive up to this Sausalito cottage, it welcomes you in with its gable gate and beautiful flowers. Upon entering, the first thing you want to do is walk across the living room to the sliding door, which leads out onto the spacious deck with gorgeous views of the harbor and boats. My husband and I spent a great deal of time on that deck with either coffee in the morning or wine, cheese, and crackers in the late afternoon.
