This was a short memorial weekend vacation for my family and we enjoyed staying at Argonaut Hotel. The location of this hotel could not be better. All of the best of Fisherman's Wharf was right outside our hotel room. Parking was additional $57.00 with tax. A small bottle of water in the room cost $3.00 which considering we had already spent quite a bit was annoying. Providing a couple of bottled water would have been a nice gesture and would not have cost the hotel much. It was clean and the room service was quick and excellent. Overall, we were pleased with our stay and would recommend it to other travelers.
We got to the hotel before check in,we were told that our room was not ready. We went and had lunch and got a call letting us know that our room was ready. We got the top floor facing the courtyard like I requested. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Since we chose not an inside room, we expected outside room. But room we were assigned wasn't outside room either. It was a room with Window for air, but not facing outside, and was told that this is a room for a person booked with Expedia. it was really disappointed, but reception staff was nice enough to upgrade our room

We have stayed here in the past, and will stay here again. The location is perfect for access to the Fisherman's Wharf area. The hotel itself was undergoing a remodel during our stay. This was a surprise to us, but did not really impact our stay. The staff are exceptionally friendly and professional. They cater to your every need. The rooms are very comfortable, and if I could figure out how to sneak the mattress home I would. If you are planning a trip to San Francisco, and plan to stay in the Fisherman's Wharf area, I would highly recommend the Hyatt Fisherman's Wharf.
