"The garden room was a static caravan with two bedrooms. When I booked it I did not know this. Otherwise I would not have booked it. It had a seating area outside which was good. Access through a door in the fence was to the pay car park. 17£ for a week. The caravan itself was full of the owners Knick knacks. Even in the bathroom. See the photos. The owner John was very pleasant and most helpful. "

"Stopped here overnight whilst walking the South West Coast Path. Very clean and comfortable room with everything I needed after 16 miles of walking and ahead of 20 miles the next day! Lovely period hotel, fabulous sash windows, high ceiling, warm and cosy room, really nice feel to the place. The owner was very welcoming and friendly. Extensive breakfast menu, all cooked to order. "Delightful accommodation with plenty of space to for our three generations and what a location. Had not known about Appledore before we went but its just perfect, would definitely reccomend, from the rockpooling and crabbing opportunities with the kids to wandering down to the Coffee Cabin first thing and simply enjoying the holiday atmosphere and estuary views. We finshed with a meal at the Beaver Inn (book early as its busy)- really nice pub. Oh, and not forgetting the Devonshire ice cream...
