In my opinion, this was almost perfect. I have been going to Acapulco for 40 years. I have stayed in a number of resorts but this one has all of my favorite things. Perfect view, great staff, perfect location and I like the fact the staff worked hard to make me feel comfortable, since I went on vacation alone. Already planning to go back. Love Emporio Hotel.
has basically everything that you would need,including good air conditioning,business center,quiet rooms,24 hour room service,direct access to the beach etc. sits in the middle of the bay of acapulco,and so has a beautiful view in both directions. acapulco has had some problems with bad publicity recently,and the tourism industry has really suffered. this is why you can get hotel rooms in a beautiful beach town for extremely low prices. i don't think that any of the problems in acapulco have involved american or canadian tourist however,and i would encourage the gringos to come back!
Everything was fine except the return taxi to the airport. We were told that the taxi would pick us up at 7:30. However, at 6:45 the driver came and told us that the flight was leaving earlier and we had to leave now. In the rush to the taxi as we were still in our room a pair of expensive glasses were left. When we got to the airport we found out that the flight was not early and actually was 45 minutes late.
AMAZING!!! Staff even if they all didn't speak English they were friendly and nice. Rooms were clean and food was good. Each night there was a different selection so you don't eat same things. Hotel was secluded with police access entry away from everyone! Cannot say one bad thing want to go back to Alcapulco just becuase of hotel!!!! Don't let another review scare you this hotel was the best ever hotel and I travel all the time!
The GRAND HOTEL an excellent place to go,if you are going to stay at the golden zone!..the hotel is very clean,the service is excellent.i really enjoyed my stay there!.. Wallmart is across the street from the hotel.
