We stayed for a weekend. The hotel staff were welcoming and efficient and prepared to supply special requests with grace. The rooms and bathrooms were modern, pristine and well appointed. There was double glazing and good air conditioning. This is a city centre hotel, with easy access to the pretty part of the old city. Parking was easy. However, it does look out over a working town square and there were no views. Breakfast was tasty and varied and a lunchtime bowl of soup and roll were great.
The "Cote Sauvage" is one of the most amazing locations you will ever experience and this hotel is uniquely situated so that you can take advantage of this unspoiled coast. We stayed 5 nights in a room for two adults and one child, which turned out to be a more than adequate junior suite with privacy for everyone. Facilities were great with two pools (one outdoor saltwater and one indoor). We played tennis and booked horseback riding nearby and generally took advantage of everything the island had to offer. Definitely rent a car when you go here so you are not stuck on the hotel grounds. Staff was of course went out of their way to make us comfortable. Have the breakfast buffet and then venture out for lunch and dinner elsewhere.

Hotel La Marebaudiere Vannes
The hotel was very good indeed, especially as a base for a short stay and made an excellent base from which to discover the area. The staff were very friendly, the room was modern and clean, with a comfortable bed, reasonjable bathroom/shower. The hotel has a large carpark which is secured at night, with an electronically controlled and monitored gate which is closed at 2200hrs each night, but is still accessible to patrons.
Breakfast is served in a light and modern room and is very good. This hotel is ideal for a short break, while visiting the area. Vannes is a beautiful old town with very good facilities, restaurants and shopping etc. with wonderful old architecture.
A small hotel in a handy and peaceful location. Just a few minutes walk to the front at La Trinite. Very attractive decor with great attention to detail in what is provided. A warm and informative welcome is offered by Dick-- nothing was too much trouble. Very good variety of foods for breakfast -- something for everyone. The gardens are laid out to provide quiet corners for relaxation. We would definitely return and recommend it wholeheartedly.
Very good services (and very polite staff) and very good food too. Found the room a little dusty only on the day of arrival, may be they did not have someone there prior to my arrival and so maybe they did not feel the need to tidy it up. But it has been very clean and tidy during the rest of my stay.
I would stay there again even though the bath had a handheld shower with no mount.I eventually got used to it. There was a shower down in the workout area, i was just too lazy to drag my stuff down there....I was staying in the old area of the Hotel anyway [I think the new area has the American type showers that hang on the wall), but I wanted the ocean view, which was worth every extra Euro. Fresh fruit baskets on all floors, and all the desk receptionists spoke very good English.Free bike rentals, and the bikes were Fantastic, and easy to navigate with all the bike lanes and trails....Hotel Le Diana....fantastic beach resort- excellent service. Worth the price....
