I experienced nice weather good food reasonable prices at local bars and restaurants. The bus service from the hotel to the town is very punctual and cheap. Taxis are a bit hit and miss but if you use the hotel approved ones although a little more expensive they are reliable.
This was my first visit to Croatia. The hotel was modern, clean, close to the beach. The staff spoke English, Italian, German, Russian, and Croatian. It seems that Porec is a hot spot for German vacationers. I probably heard more German being spoken than any other language. The pool was clean and not over-run by kids or crazy drunk 20-somethings. We were able to get a lounge chair by the pool every day. The beach is 200 meters away. Not a sandy beach, but the water was warm and clear. Also very easy to get a spot on the beach. Very relaxing place to stay. Only about a15 minute walk along the beach into the town center. Breakfast and dinner were included with our room. I am not usually keen on buffet food, but it was very fresh and cooked right in front of you. Lots of variety of excellent dishes.

The staff were incredible, the value for your money was unbeatable, the rooms were impeccable. It's the perfect place for a family, for couples and for elderly. It has a wide variety of activities for the days when you don't want to lay by the inviting pool or private beach. I cannot say enough positive about my stay and would very highly recommend this hotel. I'll be back!!!

We spent two nights here and visited Venice during one day. Hotel located within few minutes of boarding point for boat to Venice so we were able to eat breakfast before 8.00 am departure. Good menu in restaurant and coffee bar, pleasant friendly staff and good rooms and furnishings. Pool rather small but adequate for a cooling dip. Seaviews from terrace great and an enjoyable and relaxing place to watch boats coming in and out of harbour. Good flat paths and roads to cycle and hotel stored our bikes safely and free of charge. Would return to this hotel again.
Hotel was nothing special, well traveled and busy. The bed was great, really comfortable and the pillows and blankets were the best you could ask for. Me, my wife, and 2.5 year old daughter had no problem having a good nights sleep. The pool was great, not so busy and everyone having a good time. We were staying during the winter so we could only use the indoor pool. The outdoor pools looked great and im sure in the summer they are a popular place to be. The breakfast was excellent and couldnt ask for more. They even had soya milk and rice milk. Not something you see all the time. As far as other meals we dined in Umag and have to say there are some great deals on really amazing food in the city center. Drinks in the lobby bar were also cheap in price. A 0.5 liter beer will put you back about 20 KN or around 4$ all desserts were priced at 17KN or around 3.5$ which isnt bad for a hotel. Its only a small walk to the beach which sits dirrectly across the street from the building (less than 5 minutes). I wanted to talk about others that had complained. I got MORE than I paid for and really enjoyed it. I dont think you can get any better than this at this price. You wont find Champane at breakfast and if thats what you want then you need to dig just a bit deeper into your pockets and go to a more expensive more luxurious hotel. I almost forgot they have an arcade on the level floor with a few pinball machines and about 6 arcade games. It was expensive but a treat to say the least
My friends and I travel to Porec to wakeboard at the cable park. The hotel is across the street from the park and minutes from the boardwalk/marina.
The hotel does charge for internet (not sure how much, didn't subscribe), has two beautiful pools/pool areas, a generous breakfast, and a nice restaurant/cafe.
We have also stayed at the Valamar Riviera (pretty swanky). Staying there gives you access to the private island across the water. Club music is loud into the AM...

We travel a lot every year, mostly cruises, but this hotel is one of the best we have ever stayed in. From the moment we got to the hotel we were totally relaxed. The lobby bar area is spacious and comfortable with a pianist/band playing music every night. Nothing loud just nice atmosphere. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a large bathroom. All fully air-conditioned with tv. What more could anyone want? The gardens are tidy with hammocks to relax in amongst the trees, lots of lovely walks, and of course swimming pools and very comfy sun loungers. A small marina nearby with water ski-ing.
Food at the hotel was good although sometimes not very warm. Plenty of choice though.
Hopefully we will revisit this hotel in the near future
