"From check in to check out, the service provided was excellent. The staff were ever helpful and couldn’t do enough to ensure we had a pleasant stay. The food options ranged from exceptional restaurant to bar snacks, all of which were delicious. The ‘sports facilities’ were limited but more than adequate. Lovely walk around the estate. "First of all -- this is a fantastic location. Looking out over the cathedral, and a few feet from the High Street, I can't imagine a better place to spend three weeks (as we did). I'd like to make a special comment about the front desk staff, who were always cheerful and helpful, especially Sophie, Liam, and the manager (whose name I'm sorry to say I've forgotten). Steve in the bar was also lovely. The price is very reasonable, and for that reason, and because of the lovely front-desk...

"Staying was okay but l was told that, Friday night was free parking that £5:00 will be taken from my account for Thursday parking only. Looking at my account, £5 and another £10 was taken from my card. Can you refund my £10 please. Thanks."

"The rooms had no natural light due to the windows/balconies overlooking the inside restaurant and bar. This was very strange and also meant we lacked privacy. Other than this everything was fine. "

"This was a trip with our dogs which turned out to be outstanding. Super dog friendly hotel and staff. Room overlooking the cricket ground with good balcony ( apart from glass sides). Match on the Friday was an education for a non cricket person. Walks for muts were fabulous and straight from hotel. Breakfast was very pleasant. All in all a very nice stay and a huge surprise as the Hilton didn’t feel like a huge soulless chain. Will stay again. "
