"I enjoted my stay at the hotel. The old world experience of staying in a building that was built for people and not for profit was great. The room size was very generous and I felt comfortable. The fittings were all in good order and well maintained. The view of the roof immediately outside the window was not what I had hoped for but it did show that maintainence on the roof was needed. The small beech trees growing on the rafters needs urgent attention. The shower also needs a clear warning...

"I stayed at the Casa hotel for one night due to moving house the following day. The gentleman who checked me in was very polite and welcoming. I was allocated room 23 as I made my way to my room I did get a little lost due to stairways and corridors but this was not a problem. I arrived at my room and was pleasantly surprised, the room was bright and extremely clean I couldn’t fault it at all. The bathroom was spotless and the amenities were perfect offering tea and coffee, television and items...

"the staff on the phone was most unhelpful when I asked where we were supposed to park as the hotel is on the road...we had to drive round 3 times with no directions until we happened upon an unobvious carpark......the staff were slow to greet us, only when I greeted them first ( as in hello on arrival and good morning at breakfast)...such a pity ...but the waited at dinner was brilliant (surname Morgan) funny and kind...."

"Very welcome by the check-in staff. Room ready and spacious and bright, pet made very welcome with no problem. Two night stay used the restaurant both night. Menu full of choice excellent starters and main with great dessert. Second night choose from "bar menu" but in the restaurant, very good choice. Prices very competitive in restaurant and bar. Great stay.... even though we didn't visit the Zoo!!! "
