"Stayed for one night, the bar area was really busy when I arrived at around 1845hrs. Booking in was straightforward and the room was comfortable with an en-suite. The locals in the bar were very welcoming and friendly. I had a full breakfast, which was excellent, the staff were also very friendly. If you are looking for somewhere to stay, the location is an excellent base for touring the area, and the price of rooms are good value. "

"We found it hard to find the entrance when first arriving. Reception/ restaurant area is warm & inviting. Our room was a good size, paying similar to hotel properties, i would expect towels to be included in the room price. Other than that it it was a nice stay. Close to town. "

"The property is a beautiful historic home with fun trap doors and hiding places from the original owner's tea smuggling days. It has a wonderful open living and dining area with an expansive view of the town of Eyemouth. We had easy access to restaurants in town (we watched the fresh fish delivered daily), scenic hiking trails and the golf course on the hill behind the house. We also spent a day surfing in Coldingham Bay only a stone's through away. The first floor of the property is often used...
