"Situated in the center of Kelso the Queens Head is in the perfect location for the area attractions. The staff were attentive, solicitous and helpful. The room was well appointed and very comfortable. The hotel was very clean. The breakfast was substantial and delicious. Dinner in the bar was very noisy but the staff obliged me moving to a quieter table. "

"Lovely beach opposite and charming understated town, so nice seeing the grey seals and eider ducks in the harbour. Close to the stunning St Abbs village and nature reserve with beautiful cliff top walks. No issues with the property, easy to book, clean, comfortable, nice room and a lovely breakfast served by friendly staff. Will stay here again next time in area. Highly recommend it."

"I read some bad reviews about the guest house so went with an open mind. However the guest house was lovely, clean and warm with plenty of tea and good quality coffee. It's situation to public transport links was brilliant not that we had the chance to use it as we were only there for 1 night. We were there as attending a funeral, the owners let us use the car park all day which was invaluable on this occasion. I will definitely use this guest house in the future. "Really nice apartment in a great location to the square. Close by to the bars, cafes, restaurants and also not far from the Castle and main roads to get into Kelso. Check in was easy as the owner sent us details of how to get in and everything was very straight forward. Rooms were comfy, well decorated and it was a fantastic space overall. Genuinely felt really cosy and at home as soon as we entered, and it was especially great to have so much storage space including a walk in wardrobe. ...
