"Great staff, very clean room, well presented TV didn't work - only 1 Arabic channel Location - was not aware that could not get a car up to the premises and had to walk (not an issue in itself but would have been if I was with a suitcase & 1 or 2 other bags) as it is in the heart of the old town streets"

"This hotel is located in a great location and is super cute! The rooftop bar/pool/restaurant is really nice and the breakfast is fabulous!! We loved everything we had. The view from the pool is very nice and hip! The boutique in the hotel had very nice high end clothing and other neat stuff. The rooms are small but very nicely done and great bathroom amenities. I would stay here again for sure and I’m kind of a hotel snob but Upendo is super cute and decorated nicely "

"The location was perfect! I really wanted ground floor but was put on 3rd floor with no elevator. To change rooms I was told I’d have to stay extra nights. I had just climbed mt Kili and my legs were a little unstable. However they did help with my bags. The bed was extremely hard. All in all I’d stay again at that hotel "

"Stayed 31 Oct - 5 Nov 2019 Beautiful compact bungalow resort, set around a lovely pool and restaurant area. The general staff and management staff are very polite and helpful. The bungalows are spacious, well equipped and cleaned every day. We had Bungalow 5 (sleeps four people), it was enormous and well equipped with efficient air conditioning and good shower etc. Good quality lunches and evening meals are available, though variety/choice options are a little limited. "Adelina was a great host - It was my husbands birthday (&& i wasn't able to be present), she was very helpful with surprising him and making his birthday successful . She was also helpful with transportation and accommodating our needs . The place was clean and looked just like the picture presented . "
