"Nice place to stay, however u can hear the noise from the hallway n next door. I wish they had grab bars near the toilet seat which is quite low. Older people with arthritic knees like me would have problem rising from the seat. Other than that the hotel is very pleasant. "
"Staff was amazing, very helpful and informative of the area. Check in was fast and smooth and area is safe for walking at all times. Would recommend "
"I enjoyed the hotel and its facilities . The staff was great , very friendly and helpful.
The hotel is been renewed so i should deal with some noise during my staying."
"Generally, my stay was great with EXCEPTIONAL of the bed. What I saw in the picture when booking is not what I got. I was given room number 1 which is the decker bed where you need to climb a steep stair and I found it very risky. At least they should ask a guest in advance if someone is capable of climbing those stairs regularly.
I commend the two receptionists, they are very kind and helpful."
"We enjoyed our 2 night stay at Al Minar. Good value for money, located close to all the 5 star hotels, but this one is affordable. Especially the family room which fitted us nicely."

"I loved the botanical atmosphere of this hotel. I had a massive double room on the ground floor surrounded by plants which made it magical!! Pool area was relaxing. My favourite was the rooftop restaurant which had beautiful views of the seafront. I would definitely come back here. The location was very central to exploring Stone Town."
