We enjoyed our stay at the Spice Tree Hotel. The staff was helpful and friendly and the rooms were nice. The location was great for exploring StoneTown and the staff also offered great recommendations. We had a great stay!

Great property and as to be expected as part of the Marriott Bonvoy family. Everything worked as expected from “central air conditioning”, WiFi, elevator, TV with major news channels and in-house restaurant with room service. I was thoroughly impressed and this is my new “Go To” hotel while visiting Zanzibar.

Good location and affordable in comparison to other hotels nearby. Staff initially put us into a room which had a strong smell, and then moved us to another room promptly once we raised the issue. This happened once again, but they were still accommodating and gave us a room which was fit for purpose.

The Hotel is very nice for family solo or two people it’s in prime are of stone town and access to basically all restaurants and facilities The General Manager is very kind and helpful to guide and even to facilitate special requests like food and other.
