The staff were nothing but nice and accommodating. Its very central . i dont understand the low rating as i thought this place was fantastic and ive stayed in some great hotels. The cafe below is a bit pricey but so is most of dublin.
I will definitely be staying again. The hotel staff that were working between 26/10/14 till 2/11/14 I would like to thank you for being so great and helpful!
I will certainly be coming back!!
Stayed here for a couple of days to sample Dublin City prior to going on to a wedding. Read the reviews on this hotel before booking which influenced our choice. Hotel was close enough to the action with St Stephens Green Park on the doorstep. Short walk to Grafton Street and Temple Bar only about 15 minute walk away. Tram links excellent. Hotel was very well placed for what we wanted to do and see.

"Nice little hotel on the far side of St. Stephen's Green"
It was a quaint little hotel on the far side of St. Stephen's Green. I wouldn't have been able to find it on my own, luckily a friend from the area knew exactly where it was. Easy enough to get to town Grafton St. from there. I really enjoyed my stay. If you have loads of luggage, hope you're on the 2nd floor because there are only steps.
The Hotel is gorgeous and the rooms are huge. The location is perfect for walking to all the main sites and great shopping. It is loud on a Friday and Saturday so the ear plugs are needed but it is a small price to pay for the price, location and room. Wouldn't recommend the bar food.
Stayed for 2 nights in a double and a twin room, the twin room was bigger than the double. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful and set you up for the day. There are bars and restaurants nearby and it is about a 10 minute walk to the Hop on Hop off bus

Loved the location of the house and the friendly staff was so accommodating to us. This was the first time staying in a B&B and we loved it. The entire feel was so much warmer than a hotel. I would highly recommend trying this place out they're wonderful
I had read the previous reviews but decided to keep an open mind. The location did turn out to be incredible. We could walk to all parts of town with the kids no problem. We took then cycling in Stephen's Green and also went to Herbert Park. To have such a central location just about made up for the condition of the appartment. The rooms are huge and very bright, again this compensated for the rest. Basically it's student accomodation so no effort has been put into the place. The carpets were pretty horrible and the laminate had big gaps in it. The duvet covers were torn and the duvets and pillows were far from clean. The bath looked as if it had been given a coat of enamel about 20 years ago which is now yellowing and peeling off and yes, the pump, which is located in one of the bedrooms does sound like a jumbo jet taking off beside your head. It is activiated every time you turn on a tap or flush the toilet. There was noise from the other appartments day and night. Having said all that the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. It's a tough call as to whether I would recommend this place. I suppose it depends on whether you are a light sleeper or not and how picky you are about your bedding..... For a family with small children it did mean no headaches about damages etc. Word of warning, the sites that say it has free parking are incorrect though the staff came up trumps in our case and sorted us out so a big thank you for that.
