“Loved the location, would stay there again!”
Enjoyed our stay, fantastic location.
“Overall - Satisfied.”
Great location. With our schedule, it was just a place to rest our heads and shower in the morning. The room (double) was a bit cramped for space, but otherwise I was generally satisfied.
“Temple Bar Hotel”
I stayed here for one night on my trip to Ireland. I was aware that it would probably be fairly noisy due to previous reviews, and that definitely held true for my stay. There is a lot of live music in the various pubs around the areas and you can hear it from your rooms. It also seemed like the streets were busy with night life till around 4 am. Luckily, I was able to fall asleep though. It was a great location and served it's purpose for my one night Dublin stay. If you are staying more than one night and value sleep though, I would definitely avoid this area and go somewhere a little more quiet.
“Am going back and looking forward to it”
Had a wonderful time, front desk staff very helpful. Have booked two additional stays there before returning to Canada. What a great location and reasonable price. Having WIFI in my room was great. Tesco across the street a real bonus.
“Great Hotel!!”
Loved this hotel!! The front desk was so helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay here again. The room was comfortable and clean. Room service was great!! Yes it's noisy, but it's in the temple bar distract. Don't stay if you can't take the noise--or stay on 4th floor near center.
“what an awesome vacation we had”
The staff at the Temple Bar hotel were extremley friendly, courteous and helpful. The neighborhood is party central on friday and saturday. The room was great and overlooked the main street. Within walking distance of many restaurants, pubs, stores, tour bus, Trinity college. Best vacation I have ever had was a trip to Ireland.
“Great location, but not so comfortable beds!”
We were pleasantly surprised at the appearance, cleanliness and general feel of this hotel, considering it's very reasonable rates for such a great location. Everything was within walking distance. The only problem we had is that what they consider to be a double bed is not by anyone else's standards! It was very small and the hard, lumpy matress was extremely uncomfortable, unfortunately.
“Good location, but prepare for NOISE and LITTLE TO NO CUSTOMER SERVICE”
You don't get what you pay for here. Pay a bit more, and actually enjoy your stay elsewhere.
“Great hotel to see Dublin everything was with in walking distances.”
Very happy with location and the hotel people where very helpful.
“Topp lokalisering - pøbbrunde uten taxi”
Veldig bra, romslige rom. Vi bodde høyt oppe (4 th floor) og hadde vindu inn mot bakgården, så ingen støy fra pøbbgjengerne. Mektig frokost.

Temple Bar - Dublin Castle, Dublin, Ireland: This small enclave by the river was developed into Dublins Cultural Quarter in the 1980s, and soon became the citys nightlife centre. Temple Bar is still devoted to eating, drinking, entertainment, and shopping. By day, its an arty alternative hangout; by night, groups of partying tourists make it a rowdier haunt. Near the famous Hapenny Bridge, Merchants Arch retains some of the areas atmosphere from a century or so ago.
