"Pleasant staff greeted us, room was ready so were able to check in 2 hours early.Breakfast included which was a nice surprise. Beds are comfy but staying in room 2 is LOUD. You've got the breakfast room below with chairs scraping the floor and people chatting.The main issue with the room is you can literally hear every movement of the person in the room above due to the horribly old creaky floorboards. Shifting their weight in the shower was a prominent noise maker - early in the morning too so...

"I've stayed there twice now on each visit to Plymouth. The rooms have been refreshed, clean and the area is generally fairly quiet. The location means you can walk to the Hoe, Barbican readily, and the Drake Circus is 5 minutes away. If I return to Plymouth, I'd readily come back!! And the staff are great :) "

"We received a warm welcome from Ryan at his 'Community' pub, Ring o'Bells, West Alvington on the outskirts of Kingsbridge. The bedrooms are beside the carpark; access to them is via an open sturdy metal stairway which may be a challenge in adverse weather.
