I came down to watch Swindon Town play and to go to a party at the stadium in the evening. The early check in was ideal (12pm rather than the usual 3pm with other hotel chains) as it was for my wife and I plus our 5-month-old daughter, so she had somewhere to stay whilst I was at the football. We were allowed to book a double room and bring a travel cot for our daughter to sleep in. Nice hotel and nice room, clean and inviting.
I stayed at the Shaw Country Hotel for 1 night on a business trip recently. The hotel is a good quality private hotel with very pleasant staff.
On arrival there was one very small issue that I spoke to the reception staff about, within 5 minutes the owner of the establishment came to my room, apologised (for something that was outside of his control) and took immediate steps to rectify the situation.
All in all a very pleasant stay in a well run hotel that I would thoroughly recommend to others.

In the great tradition of English farmhouse B&Bs. In a pleasant country village, but within easy striking distance of the motorway. Short walk to the village pub - always a plus. Pleasant, unfussy hosts. Spacious rooms. All in all good value for money.
Gorgeous house, beautiful and comfortable room, perfect location for those wanting to see pretty Lacock and explore the surrounding countryside.
We can't comment on the breakfast, as it was served from 8 to 9am, which is far too early for us (we were on holiday and not keen on getting up at 7.30!) so we decided to give it a miss.
I'd come back and would recommend it to anyone wanting to have a relaxing break.
First impressions a bit of a surprise. Reception at rear in kitchen. Once got used to it found everything spot on for overnight stay. Large living area for 3 people, couldn't ask for more. Staff very friendly and food very good. All together a good experience. Will definitely use again.
We wanted to see the Cotswolds and stay somewhere affordable. We got a great surprise at the Saracen's by getting a nice large twin room and huge bathroom, in a clean and fun hotel with pub! I peeked at all the rooms and they were all very lovely. The manager is very nice and will teach you to play darts if you want. There's an outside courtyard with tables to enjoy when its nice out. This was a delightful place to make our headquarters for the Cotswolds Adventure.
