Disappointed — Needs major updates and better cleaning... While the staff members were great, the hotel falls far below the Sandman brand standard. Having stayed at other locations like Sandman Nova Scotia, I was shocked by how outdated this location is. The rooms were not properly cleaned, the pool/hot tub area was out of towels, and the facility showers were dirty. Major updates and stricter cleaning protocols are urgently needed.

We had a disappointing experience at the Rosewood Georgia. When we checked in we had to wait 15 minutes in line to check in. Staff the first night told us they were tending to things like Sending us anniversary bubbles and then turn down service that never appeared then our room hvac system was broken and the room was 75 degrees F overnight and into the second night making it uncomfortably warm for sleeping. We asked for help the following morning and the hotel sent someone but the issue didn’t get resolved all day and we asked for help again around 4pm at which point the manager was very friendly and apologetic which was a welcome change from the tone of the prior messages with front desk staff. He sent us a bottle of wine and some complimentary bites in our new room, also very kind. We ended up moving rooms to the exact same room we had but come to find out it had nicer amenities than the prior room (better quality bathrobes), clocks by the bedside table etc that the other room didn’t have at all which seemed strange at a 5 star hotel. Our experience with the live music in the lobby which we were So excited for was that it was very loud And the crowd talked very loud over the music making it hard to enjoy the talented musicians. Overall the space felt less like a boutique hotel and more like a larger mainstream experience that didn’t match the price tag for the room and restaurants on site.

This was by far the best hotel experience both me and my wife have experienced. From the helpful and friendly staff, to the overall experience and ambiance that is The Douglas. I felt like I was a celebrity staying here. The upgrade from junior suite to king suite was well worth the money. The only qualm I have is in that gigantic room and bathroom. The shower is gigantic, but has just one shower head coming from the ceiling. I feel like 8 people could fit in there and there was one spot that the water dropped down from the ceiling. Overall it was a memorable and wonderful experience. We will be back. The on site food and casino were the icing on the cake.

Very clean place very satisfying to stay and feels like home. Brand new and high end appliances and furnitures, the rooms are spacious, clean, from the bedsheets, pillows are crisp clean. Staff are helpful and accommodating. I had rested and so with my family, I had a very good quality of sleep. They had provided everything. Thank you so much and I will rate this place an excellent place to stay. I highly recommend this place to stay and I will come back when I had a chance again. Love it❤️
