This was a charming stay despite some confusion on check-in where the staff member was not as helpful as they could be. This was later resolved.

We stayed in a basic double deluxe room on the 4th floor. Although spacious and functional, these rooms are extremely tired and worn out. Amenities are non-existent. Our bathroom sink was missing the middle component so was simply a huge gaping hole (which the hotel had tried to mask but putting a plastic plug in). Buffet breakfast again was fine and served its purpose, but again nothing special. No barista coffee ect that you would expect at a 5 star hotel. The pool is a lot smaller than the photos make it appear and therefore is easily overcrowded. The location is great but this hotel is quite run down. Definitely not comparable to other 5 star hotels.

Staff were friendly, and room and amenities were nice.

Wonderful hotel. Beautifully adapted to its location and heritage setting. Very attentive staff and beautiful rooms. Dining at Parlour was a fantastic experience.
