Absolutely great. The pictures don’t do the property justice. Very spacious, spotless clean, totally fell in love with the floors. The sauna and tub were spectacular, got some amazing aurora views while relaxing in both. The neighborhood was great, with multiple stores like Bónus just a few minutes away. The owner was super friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed 2 nights. Holt Hotel and room were clean. The location was very convenient to restaurants and shopping areas. Breakfast was good but not to the Excellent level. Normal selections for breakfast in Europe. I had better selections in Geneva Switzerland. FYI - for those who plan to take tour with pickup and dropoff, the location of Holt does not allow bus to pick up customers at the front so the pickup location for this hotel is at BSI bus station. It's about 15 mins walk. It's not too far but something to keep in mind when booking tour. Note: There's an oven pizza place 1 block from the hotel. Their pizza is yummy, not greasy. They have carry-out service as well as seat-in. It's recommended.

I only have one recommendation for the hotel. In the lobby, change the ringtone at reception. It is the default tone that immediately breaks the vacation mentality and brings one back to the normal grind of every day life

Perfect location in the heart of down-town Reykjavik. Full, but tiny, kitchen and a great breakfast delivered to your door every day. Even only two blocks from the Airport Flybus pickup for convenience to getting to and from the airport. Staff were very nice and accommodating - free luggage storage if you have to wait for check-in or check out before you're ready for your flight.
