(1,004 reviews) The room was clean but outdated and mediocre. There were a number of things that were less than ideal. The hotel gym was less nice and functional than it appears in the images: one of the two treadmills didn't work, the yoga ball was deflated, the water dispenser was out of water for all 5 days I used the gym and didn't get fixed when i mentioned it to the staff, there were no mats available (hard floor). My sink had an issue, I couldn't open or shut the drain. The shower had really poor water pressure and on two days I couldn't get hot water- when I mentioned this to the desk the person said they do sometimes have issues with the hot water and said fi i run it for like 15-20 minutes in advance its more likely to work...who plans for an extra 20 min to wait for the shower to work! The staff was always nice and friendly, but overall it was kind of meh and didnt turn out to be as nice as it was depicted online. (1,003 reviews) This is not a 4/4.5-star hotel, as advertised. Great location, accommodating staff, adequate restaurant. My observations that warrant 3.5 at best: No one at valet stand at arrival. Overall facility felt a bit worn and not especially clean. Paint around all the guest room doors was chipped. Blow dryer didn’t work beyond medium. Toilet did not properly turn off and, thus, had to jiggle handle on every flush. Safe did not work. Maid came into room unannounced shortly after we arrived. Bed had no top sheet, just a duvet cover. Couldn’t keep it tucked in and found the arrangement odd. Nothing catastrophic but let’s call it what it is - a nice, adequate property. Certainly not a luxury stay.
