(392 reviews) The most important thing to me is cleanliness, and i could not fault the hotel on this. The room was clean, and cleaned daily with the towels replaced. The fridge in the room a very welcome addition considering the temperatures, and the safe well used. The hotel provides a shuttle transport to Licola Railway Station. Do not rely on the times stated, we did, and very nearly missed our tour meet leading to a frantic attempt to get across Naples and get to the meeting Point with seconds to spare. While our room was spacious and comfortable, the door to an adjoining suite allowed so much noise - we could hear the neighbours as if they were in our room. Additionally, we were given a mini-bar price list, but no actual fridge in the room. They also have a rule of not bringing any food back to your room! The safe also did not work. There was a split of AC/heat, a large closet and desk. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast started at 8am. It consisted of very tasty pastries, yoghurt, and cereal in a nicely decorated room by reception. I would recommend the hotel as a clean, comfortable place to stay but definitely minimalist. And perhaps other rooms are better sound-proofed than ours was... (127 reviews) We stayed here hoping it would be a good choice after reading some of the reviews, however we had a few issues. The hotel itself is very dated. The showers are really small, I had to hold the shower head as it wouldn’t rest in its holder. I asked for this be looked at but no one came throughout a 3 night stay. The beds are horrendous. It would have been more comfortable to sleep on the floor. They make so much noise when you’re turning during the night that it keeps waking you thinking that someone is in the room. Breakfast was very limited, we were completely ignored by the staff that I practically had to walk into the kitchen to ask for a drink. Even then I was hardly acknowledged. It was so bad that we decided not to eat there for the remainder of our trip. The car park that is recommended by the hotel is right next door. You have to give your keys to the receptionist when you have parked up as it’s a private car park and they may need to move your car to allow residences to park. Whilst we were there they had a builder working on the roof of the car park. He was smashing the plaster from the ceiling causing it to break on the floor and hit everything in a 5 mile radius. I have no idea how our rental car had no damage!?! They could have at least moved the car out of the way, they insisted on having the keys! The location itself was great…2 minute walk to the beach and plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Ferry port 10-15 minute walk away.
