The Old Course Hotel is, without question, one of the finest hotels in all of Great Britain and an absolute must-visit for any golf lover. The location alone is iconic, but the entire experience lives up to it. You have to go! Everything about the hotel feels exquisite and high-end, from the rooms and common areas to the service and overall attention to detail. The staff were excellent throughout our stay...professional, welcoming, and always helpful. Two thumbs up. The food was also superb. Every meal we had was beautifully prepared and added to the overall experience. Staying here feels like much more than just visiting a hotel; it’s part of the St Andrews experience itself. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and can’t wait to return, hopefully next time with my entire family.

Although our arrival and first day didn’t quite meet the standard we expected from a five-star resort, I was extremely impressed by how the situation was handled by Yegna, the manager. Yegna responded to our concerns incredibly quickly and professionally, taking the time to listen, understand what had happened and ensure everything was resolved promptly. Their attention to detail and genuine commitment to making sure we had a positive experience made a huge difference to the remainder of our stay. Thanks to Yegna, we were able to put the initial issues behind us and enjoy the rest of our weekend with our family. The level of care and professionalism we received was exactly what you would hope for from a five-star resort, and we really appreciated the effort made to turn our experience around. Things don’t always go perfectly, but what stood out was how quickly and professionally Yegna responded and how determined they were to make things right. A special thank you to Yegna for their outstanding customer service and for ensuring we could enjoy the remainder of our visit. We would happily return to the Fairmont St Andrews.
