Front desk staff are friendly and professional, alert and helpful. Pool is very nice. Just an overall very good traveling experience.

I would really love to give this review five stars. The mansion is amazing, the views are incredible, the staff are the best, it's within walking distance of several amenities, the A/C was frigid even in the heat, the local transportation was always convenient, I had a wonderful stay and would recommend it to friends. With that said... This could have been so much more because the potential of Las Flores is limitless! The building needs a lot of restoration work, and the room we were in definitely needed some cleaning. Something happened mid-stay and the water stopped working, but I don't blame the resort for that - things happen. The local pets were friendly, and they understood the rules, but the other wildlife was not so respectful. It didn't really cause any problems; it's just something to be aware of (Bahala na). Many thanks to the staff for making our trip such a wonderful memory.

This is a beautiful resort, or…was. It’s showing its age. I love the layout, with the open air lobby leading to the pool, cabanas, lawn chairs, and the beach. The pool is great, large, with built in chairs and a kiddie pool. The room was nice, with a decent balcony, a shower stall and a bath tub. The bed and oversized pillows were very comfortable. But the decor felt cheap. The room was an ice box, even when we set the thermostat to 30°c. The TV looked cheap, with its cords just hanging exposed against a plain white wall. There were repairs visible in the bathroom where outdated equipment had been removed. The iron was defective, and so was the replacement they brought. The staff were friendly and helpful, as always in the Philippines. I still feel this wasn’t a five star resort though. 3.5-4 stars for me.

1st night late arrival room BA5 had literally more than 100 ants in the bathroom, the deadbolt did not lock, and the hot water was only warm. We were changed the next day to a very nice lagoon front room with no problems. The only minor disappointment during our stay was that breakfast buffets were only available on weekends, but we were given restaurant credits to make up for it. The staff provided excellent fast service in all circumstances. A must do is to walk around the entire lagoon path and read all the informational signs on the resort's considerable biological diversity. The resorts' views including the accessible spa also suggest what paradise might look like.
