Worse hotel experience in Shenzhen . Staff at reception don’t speak English . Breakfast is terrible . Impossible to eat it . Gym has just 3 « machines «  which 2 of them are broken . It’s not a gym . Just some machines places next to the washing machines . It’s a horrible hotel and with a reception staff that is very unprofessional and doesn’t speak English .

These other reviews here must be fake. Calling this property a 5 star hotel is just unrealistic. Notice how they all sound like advertisements for the hotel and were posted within a few days of each other? I’m not saying it was terrible but at best it’s a 2.5-3 start hotel. The woman at the front check in counter did speak well enough for us to check in and arrange my airport shuttle the next day with no problem. The restaurant staff did not speak any English and the menu was in Chinese. I managed to translate the menu with Google Translate and also use it to communicate my order to the waitress. I thought the food at dinner was good, I skipped the breakfast so I couldn’t comment on it. The property has been renovated a bit but it still has some dinginess to it. Mold and rust in the shower. Be clear it also not that close to the airport, definitely not an 8 min walk as they advertised. The shuttle took about 15 min and so did my taxi to the hotel from the airport. On maps it said walking would take nearly 1.5 hours, it is right across the street from the subway but I didn’t feel like messing around with taking the subway.

The room is clean and spacious . Very convenient Walking distance to shopping mall.

i've stayed at DayHello on 3 separate trips to Shenzhen. It's beautiful, the breakfast buffet is fantastic. Great restaurant too. I didn't use their other amenities. Wifi isn't perfect. but the staff are really wonderful. Some speak English. I totally recommend it to traveling Americans or other foreigners.
