Kona Coast Fishing Holidays

The Royal Kona sits RIGHT on the ocean front atop lava rocks. It is a very old property that could use a facelift but it was clean and very open with nice breezes blowing through. We had a corner ocean front room that offered two patio sliders to a huge private deck. The room was very large, the bed and pillows were very comfortable. There was a desk/dresser piece of furniture but there was no chair to sit at the desk, and there was no side table or coffee table of any kind by the couch. The air conditioning made the room nicely cool, and the TV offered several channels. The food and mixed drinks at the property’s restaurant was quite good. There was bar hand soap at the sink, along with some wonderful smelling lotion. In the shower there was pump shower gel and shampoo/conditioner in one, again that wonderful scent. Parking is easy and inexpensive for a resort. It’s worth a visit because of the fabulous views of the ocean

The property itself is beautiful and the people helping you get around the property were extremely helpful. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to go.

The room was spacious and comfortable for three people, with table and chair space for dining in the room. Air conditioning worked well. Breakfast had ample choices. Would return again.
