"We really enjoyed our stay! The location was great — within easy walking distance to Kings’ Shops and Queens’ Marketplace, with plenty of options for breakfast, dinner, and shopping. "Our trip to the Big Island was a last minute switch from Kauai due to storms. It was our first time on Hawaii Island, and we hadn't done any research in advance. The Mauna Lani turned out to be a perfect basecamp from which to explore the island's volcanos, beaches, oceans, tidepools, and history. It was luxurious without being fussy. The staff were almost without exception were warm and helpful. Our room had a beachfront view that was gorgeous, and a large lanai from which to enjoy it. I'm not sure if it was because the hotel was not at full capacity, but our room was very quiet, and our every need was met instantly upon request. We had so much fun!"

"We may have missed this in the property description so may be our own fault but we didn’t realize we would need to carry everything downstairs with no elevator. Also we had a number of critters join us (cockroaches and centipedes) but I know those may be common here to. The real challenge for us was we couldn’t get AC to stay on even when we hadn’t opened the door. Luckily there were fans. It’s well stocked, a great location, and really inviting!!!! Would book again if AC was resolved!!!"

"Perfect Location with 5 Minute Walk to the Beach. Beautiful Garden. Beautiful kitchen with everything we need. We love it. We will be back again next year. Please fix the knobs for the showers in both bathrooms. They are hard to turn for cold or hot water in one bathroom and water is only partially going to the shower head . The other half leaks to drain. Thank you."

"The property was beautiful. The condo was very nice. Granite countertops, very nice stainless steel appliances, large bathrooms, and the place was well stocked with most everything you need. The pool and property was very nice and well maintained. My wife and I walked to the beach every morning and evening. And unlike most places we got to park the car in the garage. We are hoping in the future to be able to stay at this unit again."
