"We had a great experience from check in through check out. Our room was upgraded at check in to a room with an ocean view and we were given fresh lei’s. Our room key was in the form of a waterproof bracelet so we didn’t have to worry about carrying a card with us. The resort was beautiful. We enjoyed the pool and had wonderful service poolside. What we didn’t expect was how great the snorkeling was off the beach that is about a 10 minute walk from property. We had dinner at the restaurant on their property, the Canoe House. We reserved a table there well in advance and was the original reason we decided to stay at this resort. The head chef was the winner of the most recent season of Top Chef. The staff was helpful throughout the stay. Whenever we looked like we needed help, one of the staff would stop and give us information. They offered both self and valet parking. We chose self park because we wanted easy access to our car and it was convenient. We enjoyed our stay and would certainly stay here again on another trip to the big island."

"A private resort stay with plenty of room for our family reunion! We enjoyed the stay and the lanai pool area. The kitchen was well stocked with place settings and great artistic dining table where we enjoyed dinners with the family. The neighborhood is secure and it is nice to be able to play our playlists without worrying about neighbors as the backyard is somewhat isolated with no immediate neighbors. The hosts were 5 star at check in and stopped by with desserts from a well known bakery, delish. All in all a 5 star stay."

"This is nice property and well positioned on the Kona side of the island. It’s just north of the Waikoloa beach area, This location was great for getting around the Kona side. The Mauni Launi area is great. A grocery store, restaurants, and shopping near by. I really enjoyed the beach club access. It’s a nice beach, calm water, great for families. There was a restaurant and bathrooms to use as well. The listing is accurate, what you see is what you get. No surprises. Plenty of space. More than enough beach chairs, umbrellas, water and sand toys..We used this location to go to Mauna Kea visitor center, downtown Kona for a Luau, A-Bay, Hāpuna Beach, Mauna Kea beach, Polulu Overlook- Trail, Petroglyphs, and Keokio Bay. The kitchen has all the utensils, Saran Wrap, foil, spices, and tupper ware that you need for cooking and afterwards. Gail is experienced host and everything was smooth. I would rent from her again."
