"Beautiful property with helpful and attentive staff. The hotel grounds were well kept and we even found some great walking paths (in both directions) from the beach. The beach itself is a little rocky but but very beautiful to snorkel from and we saw such beautiful fish and many sea turtles! We also appreciated the well stocked market for coffee, snacks and gifty items. We did not use the spa, but it smelled wonderful on our way to the gym. The Goop store is an excellent touch and the hotel boutique had a great selection of mens and women's bathing suits, hats, sunglasses, totes, jewelry, dresses and purses. They had a small section for kids. The closest mall 'nearby', where the Tommy Bahama restaurant was, is not worth going to unless you need a grocery store. Most retail stores were for rent. There was another shopping area near Waikoloa (Kings and Queens market) with lot's of options and the famous Shave Ice! Note - we did not make restaurant reservations prior to arriving, and we paid the price. We either had zero availability at places we wanted to go, or got stuck with unfavorable time options. It all worked out fine, but we had three dinner meals at their beach bar (which does have a famous chef behind it) - the food was delicious! *Definitely make a Canoe House resy a month or few weeks out. Merriman's is another to get into."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We truly enjoyed our stay at KaMilo 224. The condo was spacious and beautifully decorated. We never got tired of watching the sunrise from the lanai with unobstructed views. The condo was equipped with 4 beach chairs, 2 beach umbrellas, a cooler, and several snorkel sets. The beach chairs were a bit beat up with the torn shoulder straps. A few of the glasses still had stain on them (dishes and coffee cups were clean). The kitchen was well equipped except for limited condiments. Bring your own if you need more than salt and pepper."

"Our family of four (including our 4yr old and 5 month old) stayed at this property for a week. The larger community of Mauna Lani is great for a young family. There are several different beaches to visit which are all kid friendly. We had a lot of fun renting a golf cart for the week to get around the larger community and visit the different beaches, restaurants, hikes, etc.. Our host, Lisette, was extremely helpful for tips and recommendations. We really appreciated her feedback and communication throughout our stay. We had one small hiccup with some wasps in the backyard which kept us from using the Lanai for a few days but besides that, everything was perfect. The unit was immaculate, had everything we needed, and was in a great location. We really appreciated how well stocked the home was with beach gear. We'll definitely be looking to come back to this spot again. Thank you to Lisette and the owners for providing a space for such an enjoyable and memorable vacation!"

"Our family had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful vacation home! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and instantly at home. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing family vacation. The spacious layout gave everyone plenty of room to spread out, while the comfortable gathering areas made it easy to enjoy meals, games, and quality time together. The location was perfect and pool/gym/spa walking distance. We loved being in the peaceful resort community with its beautifully maintained grounds and easy access to beaches, golf, and nearby attractions. Watching the sunsets each evening was unforgettable, and we appreciated how nice it was to explore the island while returning each night to such a quiet and comfortable retreat. The kitchen was fully equipped, making meals easy, and the beds were comfortable after long days of swimming, snorkeling, and sightseeing. Every detail reflected the owners' care and attention, from the quality furnishings to the thoughtful amenities that made our stay effortless. This home exceeded all of our expectations and provided the perfect balance of luxury, comfort, and island charm, creating memories our family will cherish for years to come. "The property was amazing for our group of 9 adults. We were able to gather in either the balcony, dining area, or the living room. The kitchen was roomy enough to move around the island to prep, cook, and serve. All the rooms had AC including the main living area. The pool and recreation area was excellent and a short walk from the home."
