Malta Fishing Holidays

The check in process for same day (booked at 3pm at airport when Airbnb canceled same day due to property issues) was delayed until after 8pm. There were places to lounge while waiting but with jet lag it was not ideal. The property itself was beautiful with a great breakfast buffet. We were able to walk to all the locations we wanted to visit.

On arrival as we were checking in we were brought a lovely cold local drink which was very refreshing. We were surprised to discover our Junior Suite was on an Executive floor, which meant we were able to use the Executive lounge while waiting for our room to be ready which was very pleasant as we were tired from our journey. Our room was beautiful with a sea view and a balcony from which we were able to watch the sun set each evening. The hotel staff were very attentive and our room was cleaned each morning and turned down each evening. At Check-in we had mentioned it was our anniversary during our visit as are were asking about a nice restaurant to book, and had a lovely surprise when we returned to our room on the day to a folded towel display of swans/hearts, with a poem, chocolates and a bottle of prosecco on ice! Breakfast was a buffet on the lower floor. There was an excellent choice of foods, including local treats, and you could order coffees, freshly squeezed juice and omelettes cooked to order. The hotel is part of a group with 2 others and you could use the facilities of all. There were 3 outdoor swimming pools and an indoor one with a jacuzzi, however our favourite place to swim was in the sea at the Lido. There were plenty of lounge chairs and parasols for shade and staff from the poolside restaurants regularly passed by to take drinks/food orders. We particularly enjoyed the cocktails! We are already planning on next trip!

One of the best hotels I've stayed in. We stayed in a Sands Tower Suite with breakfast. The breakfast buffet was lovely. The other restaurants on site are gorgeous, the food was one of our highlights! Staff were so welcoming & friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We got engaged here, so will deffo be back & I can't wait!!

Ta Cenc has lots of charm but while some of the rooms have been newly renovated others remain dated. We appreciate the charm of the hotel but time to speed up the renovations.

Room immaculately made up every day. Good supply of tea coffee ect. Good fitness centre and pool although chlorine a bit strong. Handy for bus to airport and Valletta. Walking distance to Gozo ferry. Paradise Dive Centre across the road offering try dives, guided dives and dive courses. Would book again
