Great location. Good facilities. Staff generally weak; particularly restaurant and bar staff - one didn't know how to poor a beer. The Pool 'towel guy' was very unfriendly.

Literally there is no complain at all but all fun. The ocean view, sunrise/sunset, the beach, the beautiful hikes to the neigbhor beaches/bays and I actually kayak to those bays, too, from the hotel. The breakfast is wonderful. If I have to nitpick, it is the lack of a socket (no socket at all) on the wall in the bathroom for my waterpik...

NOT 5*! Stay elsewhere! Budget hotel.
For what is suppose to be a 5* resort this definitely left a lot to be desired. Before arrival I tried to make contact with the hotel to make a special request regarding our anniversary but got no reply. Upon arrival we were disappointed with how we were greeted. The hotel is massive and could see if was not busy at all. We requested a sea view room as it was not definitely not full but told it was not an option. We only ate once (that first night) at the hotel. The food and service were really not good and expensive for what you got. Cocktails were poorly made, they'd put peppercorns in one and so each time you sipped through the straw you'd end up with the peppercorns in your mouth, which wasn't very enjoyable but apparently that is how they designed the cocktail and it MUST be made like that. You are given a towel card per person which entitles you to 1 towel. This towel does not even cover half of the sunbed. For a 5* resort with this price tag there should not be a limit on towels. It's such a palava to request anything at the hotel. Parking is a rip off at 3euro a day when in most places in Malta you dont have to pay. Pillows basic quality and very uncomfortable. When i requested feather pillows i was given a look of disbelief. Breakfast everything is cling wrapped, obviously not fresh. One of the plates of meat and cheese had mould on the salami and tomatoes were mouldy!!! For a very expensive dated hotel labelled as excellent I will be complaining.
