Ninth Ward Cheap Holidays

Unfortunately, our second stay was very disappointing. We didn’t have enough towels, and after water spilled on our bedding, we were unable to get clean bedding despite asking. We were told that housekeeping was available at the time of night. Having to sleep with wet bedding or no bedding was unacceptable. We had a much better experience during our first stay, so this was especially disappointing. We expected better service and attention to basic guest needs.

The property was conveniently located on the edge of the French Quarter on Canal St. Walking to nearby places or taking public transit was a breeze. We appreciated being able to use codes to enter the main entrance and our suite without having to keep up with keys. The suite was immaculate and stocked with just about everything you may need for an extended stay or for those who prefer a full kitchen to prepare their own meals on occasion. Having complimentary access to multiple sets of washers and dryers was a pleasant bonus! If I had an issue it would be that were no USB or c ports anywhere in the suite. We brought our connectors and converters so we were good. And, the walls are a bit thin. Other than that, this place was wonderful, communication throughout our stay was great, and the staff were super nice helpful.

Rooms are always clean. Room service breakfast was top notch. That’s my third visit and I will keep coming back

The corner balcony room is NOT worth the price. Directly above the dumpsters and a view of the parking lot across the street. Spent two full days listening to the carpet cleaning company truck directly below my balcony with a large generator. Water lines and cords going up the side of the building obstructing the window and you couldn’t even walk out to the balcony to enjoy it. Accommodations were fine. Plain and simple, nothing to write home about. Went to the bar on the 5th floor at 5:15…closed.
