I booked a night at Oakes to explore Niagara Falls. Arrived at 4pm and check in staff had informed me they attempted to call me as there had been a problem with the hotel maintenance and therefore a room wasn’t available. They subsequently booked me into the nearby Hilton Hotel in the same room class and view. Really impressed as I don’t know how I’d have felt if they had just cancelled my room and left me to search for alternative accommodation on my own.
Really pleased with the service.

Amazing property with nice and friendly staff. However, the telephone in the room doesn’t work, the water flowing through the shower pipes and taps makes a strange noise, the pressure is inconsistent, and they don’t even provide a bottle of water despite such an expensive stay
