I am writing to report a concerning experience during my recent stay at The Oakes Hotel Overlooking the Falls booked through Expedia.
While preparing for bed, we discovered a bug underneath the pillows in the bed. This was very distressing and raised immediate concerns about the cleanliness and overall standards of the room.
We reported the issue to the front desk right away and were advised to follow up via email. However, this situation significantly impacted our comfort and confidence in the room.
In addition, the hotel pool was advertised as an amenity, but the water was uncomfortably cold and not enjoyable to use, which was disappointing.

Great Hotel. Great staff. Needed very early checkin and they got it done. Beautiful room and view on 21st floor. Everything you could want in walking distance. Wego bus system accessible one block away. Would gladly stay there again. Great value.
