(631 reviews) The resort was situated north of town which made for a quiet stay. It was just perfect. We had a group of friends and we felt like we had the resort to ourselves. The golf cart adventures into town were great, despite the bumpy roads. The food, staff and bartenders were top notch. Everything I ate was amazing and the staff were so friendly and helpful!! Would definitely recommend and will absolutely return! (370 reviews) The three stars are really for the room - it was nice and spacious with a beautiful view. However, everything else about this resort is pretty underwhelming and overpriced. The beach looked filthy with brown water, seaweed and garbage everywhere and pretty much deserted. The food was overpriced and quite mediocre in quality. The one time we wanted to use the hot tub - it was pumping cold water and we went there to ask if they could make it warmer and waited and waited but no one even came out or did anything. The resort is located a good 30-40 min drive on the Golf Cart to Sam Pedro (and the road is completely destroyed, so the ride is very far from pleasant). If you're going to San Pedro area - I'd advise to stay somewhere within the town (or close to it), and not waste your money on this resort.
