"The property is beautiful and staff are kind and friendly. My only issue was with the beach front property. Due to the Sargassum issue, the smell is horrible and making it hard to spend time on the beach or on the beautiful balcony. I would recommend staying at the lagoon side if you’re heading there. Other than that, I would definitely return. "

"The room was very nice with an ocean view, but the shower was very inconvenient; it was very small. They have plenty of space to enlarge it. The staff's service is excellent, and the hotel has the best restaurant in Placencia."

"This is a gem of a quiet, accommodation spot with a nice sandy beach, small pool, a good restaurant and nice swimming in the ocean out front. The accommodation huts are perfect, the beds are decent and we felt as if we had our own private resort for some enjoyed R&R. It’s a short drive away from Placencia but well worth it for this experience. Kids loved the pool, paddle boards, hammocks and large beach area. I definitely recommend this place!! "

"We had a fabulous stay at Ophelia‘s Villa. The house is gorgeous and worked great for our group. The pool and view were especially enjoyed by all. Also, the location was great and worked really well for our group whether we were heading out for adventure or heading down to Placencia for dinner or boating. We would definitely stay in the same location and same house in the future. A big thanks to Ida for the delicious dinner and birthday cake she served our family one evening. Thank you so much for a fabulous vacation!"

"The staff were fantastic-5 stars for them!. Omar took great care in preparing our meals and Darlin kept everything looking great. Both Julio and Francisco were very helpful too. One day Francisco surprised us with fresh coconut water. The furniture could use updating. Patio furniture was stained and seams pulling apart. Living room furniture was very hard and uncomfortable. The picnic table on the roof was not ever used as it’s not a relaxing item. The golf cart was great and very helpful with as far as the house was from Placencia village. The view was nice but blocked with the amount of trees and the street noise was very loud. Overall we had a great time. If we visit again I may try something further south or closer to the excursions."

"Good location, easy access to all restaurants. Easy shopping. But then above all the special architectural features of the property. Amazing!! Everything is specially made for this place. Fits perfectly and makes you feel in a special place. Looking over the pool into the lagoon and onto the fields out over the blueish mountain ranges. Also managed and maintained very well."

"We truly enjoyed our stay at Lucky Duck Villa. The views were amazing! Carlos and Lupita do a phenomenal job keeping the grounds and house nice and clean. Marie was our private chef and all meals were delicious! The staff were very kind and accommodating. We would love to visit again!"
